This page has been created to help users who have trouble setting up their phone with their Twitter accounts.

US-based Mobile Phones

Problem Diagnosis Solution
I'm on Sprint. I've added my number to devices. When I send the verification code to 40404, nothing happens. Twitter doesn't reply when I send ON to 40404 either. Blocked Shortcode Contact Sprint customer service and ask them to unblock shortcodes, specifically 40404, for your mobile account.
My phone is still unverified even after I send the verification code by sms to 40404. Twitter responds when I send ON or HELP, but my tweets don't show up in my account Duplicate Account aka Username1 Claim the duplicate account, delete your phone no, delete the account

Canadian Mobile Phones
